My name is Jenn Deering Davis, and I’m a doctoral candidate at the University of Texas at Austin. I’m working on my Ph.D. in Organizational Communication, where I focus on the use of information and communication technologies in organizations. I have a particular interest in newer mobile and web technologies and on high-tech and startup contexts.
This blog is a space for me to share thoughts related to my research, my teaching, and the process of writing a dissertation. It is also part of my research itself – I figure if I’m going to study the ways in which people uses tools like blogs in the workplace, then I should probably use the tools myself.
